The health of your eyes and the quality of your vision is our main concern and we have highly qualified and experienced optometrists to help you with all your needs.
Our consulting room which is now downstairs is equipped with the necessary instruments to enable us to determine what your eyes require and monitor any conditions.
The eye exam includes tests to detect the presence of common eye conditions including squint, cataract, glaucoma and macular degeneration as well as general conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure.
The NHS and City Opticians
Some patients are eligible for free sight tests and help towards the cost of their spectacles from the National Health Service (NHS). Such categories include people under 16 years of age and over 60 years of age, diabetes, persons over the age of 40 years with a family history of glaucoma, as well as those receiving Income Support, Family Credit and other benefits.
There are some restrictions on how often you can apply for NHS support and our staff can advise you of the limits that apply to you.
